TAQA Energy Services and Sdeira Launch a Building Retrofit Project in Aryam City
TAQA Energy Services, part of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company, has signed an agreement with Sdeira Group, part of AD Ports Group, to deliver a building retrofit project in the Aryam City residential community in Abu Dhabi’s ICAD area.
It is one of the largest energy and water efficiency retrofit projects in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Its scope covers eight residential compounds and a commercial center, delivered over fourteen months.
Scope of Work
- Upgrading heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
- Deploying advanced technology to monitor energy and water consumption.
- Improving operational efficiency and quality of life for residents.
Expected Impact
Under the agreement, the project is expected to deliver annual savings in carbon emissions and in electricity and water consumption.
The project sits within Sdeira’s direction of raising the operational efficiency of its existing assets alongside developing new communities.
